The border didn't kick my butt...

I survived the border...woohoo! I finally finished her on the last day of August. Now she patiently waits for her frame. If you've been considering this sampler, go for it. She's a little repetitious, but much prettier in person. Here's a sampling of Blyler House by The Goode Huswife. I'm using 40ct. vintage something with NPI. After stitching the full figured Rebecca, this one is a treat.

I mentioned on my last post that I had painted some thread keeps for Bloom Woodworks. Here's a few:

This one can be personalized with one or two initials.

Hip, hip, hooray! I am so excited for you that you have completed Rebeccah - she is amazing.

You are so talented! Your thread keeps are very pretty - I think the topiary is my favorite.

Happy stitching.

Tanya - A huge congratulations on finishing that lovely piece. I'm happy dancing for you!!!! You know, your progress pics made me go out and buy that pattern. You are such an enabler, but I love your choice in samplers so much and have to live vicariously through you because I'm such a slow stitcher.

Really like the progress so far on Blyler House - another great design.

And I may just have to pick up a couple of those threadkeeps. There are a couple I have my eyes on!

Again, love your Rebecca finish! It's beautiful!

It is amazingly dense and all those motifs. Turbo needle! Can't wait to see Becky framed!

I haven't seen that GH before I don't think.

Rebecca is just gorgeous!!! Well done Tanya. Nice progress on your new project. I LOVE your threadkeeps too. Where do you still find time to stitch? I know how busy you are but you still make time for stitching and that is admirable.

Congratulations on finishing Rebecca. She is so impressive!

I like the GH design. Yes, it must be relief to work on something so much smaller and simpler. It's nice to take a break, and it looks wonderful.

I see lots of lovely thread keeps too! You're keeping mighty busy, Tanya!

Your finished sampler looks amazing, I love those colours. Love your new Good Huswife too, and that green is wonderful, I like a bit of colour, pastels don't do it for me.
