Rebecca Robinson and a wall

As promised, here is my progress on Rebecca Robinson. Ohhhh, I'm so in love with this sampler. I know, I know, I'm repeating myself from my last post, but the more I stitch, the more I love it. The quirky little motifs are a little peculiar looking, but quick to do. I'm thinking of changing some of the colors. There's a whole lotta dark green going on and some of the called for colors don't have enough variance. Poor Rebecca probably just used what she had on hand.

My friend, Alice has asked me to show the wall where I hung Sarah Hartley. I've shown this wall in progress before, but I'm constantly rearranging it. We have a TV in the middle, and the next two photos show the samplers on either side. Yes, I know that some are hung low. I'm using all available space, lol. I also know that some look a bit crooked. It's a never ending battle to keep them hanging straight.

Enjoy your holiday weekend! As always, I appreciate your comments. Thanks a million.

Ack! How beautiful! Don't you start me on this sampler too! lol! And your sampler walls! I wish I had that much space to hang things. I so want to do Catherine Maudsley --isn't that what that one is? You keep making me want to stitch things! :D

I love your wall. So many beautiful samplers! And I also love Rebecca a lot. I might have to get this chart (dang)! Everytime I see another project that you're doing, I start falling in love with them. Anyway, great progress and I can't wait to see more of her.

Rebecca Robinson is a very unsual pattern and its certainly growing on me too. A sampler wall is never done as each time you add a new framed piece its as if it needs a shuffle. Its looks gorgeous so far though. I have decided to stitch about 15 samplers and then frame and hang them all at once avoiding the shuffling later. Our walls are unforgiving when it comes to drilling new holes. Once something is hung it has to stay that way. Not so much fun I know so I must get a move on with my stitching.
Hugs
Alice

Rebecca is so beautiful. You also pick the most beautiful samplers. I have been eyeing this one off in the SL catalogue as well. Looks like I will have to send another order to the US.

I really love your sampler wall. It is really beautiful and you have something that I sincerely wish I had to hang all of mine. Space. I have to keep replacing mine as one gets finished.

Will keep my eye out for the John Adams mini series. Hopefully I will get to see it one day. I love watching historical dramas. You learn so much. -Sandra.

WOW!!! Where to start?! Rebecca is Outstanding, you are really making progress, you will be done with her before you know it, adding her to your samplers, you have great taste in your framing too. Do you do all your own framing? Do you lace the back? Your walls look like a museum!!
