I took a break from Rebecca Robinson this weekend to work on this. It's one of the designs from the new book, From Hollyhock Farms by Stacy Nash Primitives. I don't usually stitch this type of thing, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I even stitched it in cotton thread and to my complete surprise, it didn't kill me. I'm not sure whether it will go into a frame or find itself made into a small pillow. It has a home in our master bedroom either way. The colors are perfect for it there. I plan to do the other designs, too, but I'm missing Rebecca, so they'll have to wait.
What a sweet little project - it's always nice to take a break from those large projects and work on something small. The feeling of completing a project is quite fulfilling.
I tell you, there's something about our tastes! I debated for the longest time about whether to pick this book up. lol! Well now that you've gotten it, perhaps I'll go for it as well! Lovely finish!
That is such a cute little finish, Tanya! YGG! ROFLOL at the 'it's cotton and it didn't kill me' comment. LOL You are woman, hear you roar. I can't wait to see what you decide to do with it!
Hi, I'm Tanya. Our home is shared with three Bostons named Rhubarb, Scarlett, and Henry. It's never a dull moment with 12 little paws underfoot. I am passionate about stitching samplers, and I love sharing that passion with like-minded people. I also enjoy antiquing and decorating our house with my finds.

I really like that new design! (I must resist!) It's nice to have a small project to stitch as a break from the big one(s).

Very pretty and sweet! I love her designs but have yet to stitch any...not sure why. This one is particularly lovely!
Lovely...
What type of fabric would you use if you make it into a pillow?
I like this design very much. The colors are so lovely. I always stitch small designs in between of big ones. I'm excited to see what you do with it.
Very pretty! What a sweet design for a tiny break. Can't wait to see how you finish it.
That really turned out well. I love Stacy's designs. Do you plan to distress it the way Stacy does her samples?
Cute finish! Love the colors also.
Love the colors too!!! I will have to go to Stacy's site and check out this new book. April In Alabama

How sweet! I just love this! It helps to take a break from a larger project sometimes to work on a smaller one that can be completed quickly!
Such a sweet finish!!
That is such a sweet project. :-) I'll be watching for the finished look.
Sounds like a great book. Now you have my curiosity going. : ) Very pretty design and I am sure whatever you do with it, it will look great.

That is a really nice design. I love colors and the balance of it. It's good to break up the large projects with smaller ones!
It's very sweet, I'm another that likes to have a small project on the go to break up the larger ones
Love this! Isn't it nice to have a "quickie" now and then? ;) Hehe...
Beautiful! I love Stacy Nash. This will be such a sweet addition to your finishes.
