On the stitching front, I'm still working on that darn Rebecca border, and hating every minute of it. My friend, Margaret, is stitching her, too. She has turbo needles, and I've threatened to go take her needles away if she finishes it before I do, since I've been working at it so much longer. She only thinks I'm kidding.

Something new...
from The Scarlett House studio. I am happy to now be offering these complete sets on my Etsy shop. The four piece set includes a needle case, ruler, thread keep, and scissor fob. The scissors are my own beloved Ginghers, and are not included. For the longest time, I have wanted to complete my sets with a fob and thread keep. I was recently contacted by Bloom Woodwork's about painting for them. They make these wonderful horn book fobs and thread keeps in all kinds of fun shapes out of solid cherry. Their workmanship and attention to detail is the best I've seen. I am so thrilled to be partnering with them. In the very near future, you will be able to purchase individual items from them. I'll occasionally show the designs here on blog. If you've purchased one of my previous sets and would like the matching pieces, please email me for details.

Your pillows are just delightful.
Sounds like a challenge to me - I'm sure you can finish before Margaret does - we are all cheering you on - Go Tanya!
Oh my gosh. Tanya, you rock. I am so excited for you -- and us stitchers, too -- over your partnering with Bloom Woodworks. F-A-B-ulous!!
Speaking of fabulous, your sachets are adorable. I really really need to finish some of these samplers so that I can do some smalls.
Wow!!! Those sets are amazing!!!!
Your sachets are beautiful!!!!! I can almost smell the lavender from this end~~~
Fantastic! Love your sachets, and your pieces made by Bloom Woodworks. They're great! As for Rebecca, no worries. I'm a looooooooooooooong way from being done. lol!
Your new sets are so beautiful Tanya! I really love the one with the lighthouse - it's definitely my favorite (I love the whale thread holder). Your sachets are beautiful also! Congrats on three great finishes! I'm sure you will have Rebecca finished in no time!!
love your grouping of sachet, I am not familiar with these patterns of hers but I like them. I think that you should just sneak into Margaret's house some night (if Possible) and switch samplers on her. IF she is a friend she won't mind stitching on yours and get you caught up to her, right. ;)
Fabulous!!! Your new sets are fabulous and what a great partnership. I bet those sachets smell as good as they look. ; )

Nothing like the birth of an awesome partnership!! Love, love, love those sets, so charming and unique!!
You are so funny, course now I think you have turbo needles too, maybe you and Margaret should get together sometime and do a marathon to see which is actually the fastest.
I adore those lil pillow finishes, just perfect for where you have them.
Congrats on your new partnership... your sets are gorgeous. Love the Stacy Nash scented cushions.
Oh I love your lavender sachets so much. They are wonderful.
And your new painted creations are amazing. I was thinking of hitting the wood work room soon too and try myself on a few of these amazing thread keepers. I have a n itching for power tools lately.
Your new pieces are gorgeous and although I would love a hornbook to match the set I bought, I have a holiday overseas looming so cannot afford it right now. The sachets are wonderful, well done.
Congrats!! Jodi and Dad are amazing!! All your work is beautiful!
The pillows are just wonderful! You give Margaret a run for her money! LOL!
How exciting about your new venture with Bloom Woodworks! I just love the new pieces! You are so extremely talented!
Uh oh. I seriously love your new etsy items. ;) Congratulations on the new partnership!
