Down to the wire

All that's left is the verse for Margaret Simcock. I'm so glad to be almost done with her. Now, I need to finish Sarah Hartley. In the meantime, I've started A Friendship Sampler by Plum Street Samplers. I am getting dangerously close to having a rotation, lol. That is something I've always resisted against. I usually finish something before allowing myself a new start. I'm finding myself totally without willpower lately. Earlier today, I was thinking about the days, many, many years ago, when my "stash" consisted of the fabric I was currently using, a half full plastic box of DMC, and maybe a chart or two waiting in the wings. My how things have changed!

Here's a new needle case set going on Etsy.

By the way, if you made my muffins, let me know how you liked them. There are a lot of rhubarb lovers out there. To those of you who haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for? Suzanne, your comment about the two women fighting over rhubarb at the market just cracked me up. I wasn't there, I swear.

This sampler is just another wonderfully gorgeous piece, that is joining many others. You are so talented and quick with the needle, Tanya. Love it, and I love those needlecase sets, going to have to get me one of them soon!

What lovely progress photos. I can't believe how far along you are though. Your needle case is so sweet.

Since you're into samplers, did you see The Sampler Girl's new release called On Travel With Jane Austen? It's on her website. It's fantastic.

Well, my stash used to be very small as well, but it is growing rather fast - and I've only started cross stitching not even for one year!!!!! There's just too many wonderful designs out there, it's soooo hard to resist!!!!!

I am wondering what fabric this is stitched on. You can e-mail me from my profile. I live in AZ too.

Tanya, MS is such a pretty sampler. I look forward to seeing it finished. I do remember when stash was pretty much what I was working on at the time and maybe a small collection of DMC threads!

Can't wait to see what you start now.
