Isabella framed and a little luck...

Happy Saturday! I finally found a frame for Isabella. It's very simple, but it's a wonderful chestnut color, and it compliments the piece, I think.
I was pleasantly surprised to get an email from Carol at Em-Li's. She found Two Fine Ewes for me, along with Adam & Eve, also by The City Stitcher. I was jazzed and then the next day she told me that she also located The Learned Wife by Kingsland. All three of these charts have been next to impossible to find, at least for me! I guess persistence paid off this time. Thanks for all of your suggestions. I did, by the way, contact The City Stitcher directly, and they never responded.

Love Isabella! How pretty! And as for Emli's, that's interesting! So did someone else take over the shop? I know the original owner has health problems. There are tons of things on that site that are hard to find now!

Yay for Emlis! I believe that Carol is the original owner's (not sure if her name was Emli) daughter, and she's totally with it. I called looking for some Sheepish Designs charts shown on Emlis site which they didn't actually have, but she found me some other charts and was nice and really quick about shipping.

Isabella is great--the frame is just right.

I adore Carol. She took Em-Li's over from her dear mom. She has some amazing charts in stock that you cannot find anywhere else. Your framed piece looks lovely Tanya.

Your Isabella looks wonderful!

I'm surprised and delighted that Carol helped you out with searching for the charts. My experience with Em-li's has been frustrating in that a lot of things on her site are not actually available so I had spent a long time getting excited and then disappointed. However, maybe things are changing! You must've been over the moon to get those 'longed for' charts! Congrats!

Isabella looks beautiful in her frame! I am so glad EmLis helped you find the frames you wanted! I wish she would open her shop again. Very close to me. But she only does internet now.

Just found your blog. Your Isabella is really beautiful. I love antique repos. as well. Would love to own an original but you know.
Your have some really beautiful works in the pipeline. I enjoyed your photo of your new stash. There are some beautiful Scarlet Letter Samplers there. I hope that my needlework shop in Australia will be getting some of them.
I will be back - Sandra.
