Isabella Johnstone is close to being done. While I will enjoy seeing her hanging on the wall, I've enjoyed stitching her so much, I almost hate to finish. Even the border has been fun. That's an unusual statement coming from this border procrastinator.
I've spent the last couple of days choosing fabric and converting fibers for the next one on the horizon. I've always wanted to stitch the Country Life Sampler from Scarlet Letter, so I'll be putting in the first stitches very soon. It's a wide one at 660 stitches. I'm doing it on 40ct. Sandstone linen, so it won't take up the whole wall anyway.
Thanks for the nice compliments on my charm bracelet, and especially to my favorite Brit, Jen, for her help in answering my question. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet. I've been lifting weights so I can build up my arm strength first. No, not really.

I can't believe you've just about completed this sampler already. It looks fabulous... I just love the cow.
Isabella is gorgeous! You need to slow down. I need to stitch both Isabella and the Country Life, not to mention Ann Wragg. lol!
Yes, you are right Isabella is stunning. I love that little touch of blue down the bottom. Little touches of blue in samplers is like the red factor.
You know, I think you are definately a sheep lover in samplers as well lol. This sampler is another stunner and I am looking forward to seeing your progress on this one.
What a cool design, very moo-ish! ;-)
Another SL design to watch with fascination and delight! Looking forward to seeing your progress on it.
What a gorgeous sampler, wow, I love it!
Your new charm bracelet is...well...charming :-)
Wham-o just like that done!
BAM!
Batta bing and yabba dabba doo! That's a gorgeous one!
Isabella is stunning and the Country Life Sampler will be so fun to watch you stitch - Love it!
I'm wearing one of my charm bracelets today - I love them and wear them a lot more in the summer when there aren't sweaters to be snagged!
Love Isabella :-). The cow is so much fun. Can't wait to see your Country Life start too.
Red Cow looks incredible, Tanya! Those colors of Belle Soie are gorgeous on your linen.
SHe's so gorgeous. I can't wait to stitch this one!!
Wow, you got through this sampler fast - or it seems that way. I think that it's a great one. Country Life is a great one too - I need to stitch it - one of these days!
I just saw the lovely Isabella in the Attic newsletter - How did you like that 45ct? not that I'm able myself but just wondered how much harder it was to see than 40ct. Your next selection sounds awesome.

wow on both the almost finished and the almost started...can't wait to see both!
Isabella is looking gorgeous, great progress
Isabella is beautiful. You really worked this piece up quickly!
Isabella is great! And I'm looking forward to seeing you stitch Country Life with its RABBITS! I'm going to the needlework shop this weekend, and I'm NOT NOT NOT buying AVAS for this project.
Everytime I see this piece I think of old tea towels. It is such a wonderful piece and your new SL choice is wonderful! You are such an enabler (said with love). I'm with Margaret, slow down so we can all catch up, lol. Of course, Margaret also has lightening fast needles.
Have a fabulous weekend, Tanya!
Isabelle looks great Tanya. It looks like a fun stitch too. I am sure you have the perfect place to hang it once framed and Country Life will probably not hang very far away from Isabelle once completed. I like the rectangular shape of Country Life. Nice new project.

Wow, nearly done. And the next sampler is already waiting for being started. It's a really nice one ...
Isabella is so beautiful! Just love her! And Country Life? Wow... another stunner headed to your walls. :)
Speaking of charm bracelets... I always wanted one as a kid, but never got one and sort of forgot about them until I saw your find... and then on Saturday Terri was wearing a great one.... you two may have resurrected a dangerous new addiction for me. :)
Have a great week!
