Adam & Eve and my own garden...

I finished this up yesterday. That snake eye was the very last stitch, too, lol. It was stitched on 40ct. Days Gone By linen with NPI. As usual, I made a few changes. I had to substitute a couple of the colors that didn't show up very well on the linen. I know I say this with every sampler, but I REALLY love this one. I started adding a few pieces to the craft room wall, and this one will probably join the others.
I started this one last night. It's The Green Linen Sampler by The Scarlet Letter. I had to dig very deep in the old stash of fabric to find some green linen.
These next two photos were taken this morning in my own Garden of Chandler. They are for you, Sherry. Hopefully, you can enjoy some nice days outside very soon. And for you, Sue. Get well soon.

Thank you for the sweet comments on The Plantation Sampler.

Hi Tanya, A&E is beautiful. It would look lovely with a collection of A&E's. Love your new start. Looking forward to seeing it's progress. The green linen is something different and makes this sampler pop. I love Scarlet Letter pieces.
I tried yesterday afternoon to order a couple of charts from Scarlet Letter but couldn't get past the first page where you put in all your details etc. Something about "billstate" kept coming up every time I clicked to go to the next page. Couldn't find it mentioned on the page it kept sending me back to (details page). I figured that it was how much my bill was but couldn't find any mention of it on the details page. Also I have no idea how much the postage would be to Australia. I ended up printing the order form, scanning it and sending the order in by email. Hopefully I will be able to get what I want that way. For my future reference what is "billstate" and what do I do if I order something else with them.
Your photo's of your favourite things are lovely. You have a lovely home - Take care - Sandra.

Oh, I LOVE it!!! I really really do... and have you always had those pics of your house on there? As we've established, I'm blind (better that than unobservant, I suppose). Anyway, just let me know if you ever need a house sitter. It sure looks like my idea of a wonderful restful haven! And, roses in bloom already? No fair, lol! I'm about a month away from my own lovely blooms. IT'll be worth the wait, though, right? TTFN

Your Adam and Eve sampler is truly gorgeous - which is more than I can say for your new start though!! Having said that, once you start your magic on it, it will be lovely I'm sure, you seem to have a knack of turning the most awful samplers into beauties.

Oh Tanya, I just love your A&E! It is beautiful, congrats on the finish, you stitch really fast!! And I can't wait to see your new start, know it will be truly lovely! I just took the time to browse through your pics the other day, sat here for most of the time, with my mouth open, staring at all of the beauty! Your Adam and Eve is GORGEOUS!!! I love that fabric you used. It prompted me to spend hours (OK, days!) looking through my stash because I knew I had that chart somewhere. I just found it (yippee!) so it is in the very high stack of "to do next" pile sitting next to my stitching chair. Would you mind sharing your NPI conversion? I'd love to do it in the silks rather than the DMC it calls for. Thanks for sharing - it really is beautiful.
