It seems like I'm making small progress on Isabella Brackin even though I work on it daily. There's so few colors used, and some are so pastel that they are hardly visible. Even so, I have to say that I just love this sampler. The motifs are so feminine and pretty. By the way, I forgot to thank you for the frame suggestions for the Dutch Spot~Motif Sampler. I did find a frame, and I hope to post a picture soon. As always...thanks for stopping by.
Great progress Tanya. I zoomed in for a closer look, just to see if those are strawberries in the border. Have you missed stitching a little bit of the 7th one down on the RH side? Looking forward to seeing your new frame.
Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog! :) I have had such an enjoyable time looking through your blog and drooling over the pictures. I LOVE your decorating. Another Eldreth Pottery fan! I love love love their stuff! Your stitching is beautiful, and I love your WIP. I don't think I've ever seen it before. Perfect choice on the linen!
I can't believe I have just found your blog (through wee bird). It's beautiful!! Your samplers are gorgeous - Your house is beautiful! I have just bookmarked your blog, so I won't miss a post! :)
Two Fine Ewes, by the City Stitcher: try calling Emlis (the # is on their site)--emlis.com. They show a picture of that sampler BUT they showed pictures of the ones I wanted also, and when I called, they said, "we don't have any of those (I asked for about 8), but we have these other ones instead!" (none of which I wanted). Seems things are a tad disorganized there--the owner seems to be in the process of retiring, and her daughter has taken over. Still, it's worth a shot, and the one little thing I ordered was shipped prompty--and they're very nice. The sampler I wanted on ebay went for a bit more than $4. I'd have paid $10!
Your samplers are beautiful! I share your frustration, I have been getting side tracked, and barely touched my Dutch Beauty sampler. I look forward to seeing yours completed.
I am so drawn to this sampler. I have several that I want to get into my rotation...but my UFOs are guilting me out...so I must still that little voice of temptation...I really wanted to get these UFOs to WIPs and behind me. Lovely, lovely work.
Hi, I'm Tanya. Our home is shared with three Bostons named Rhubarb, Scarlett, and Henry. It's never a dull moment with 12 little paws underfoot. I am passionate about stitching samplers, and I love sharing that passion with like-minded people. I also enjoy antiquing and decorating our house with my finds.
