Stash Enhancement
I mentioned a post or so ago that I went on an online shopping spree. I think it's good for ones constitution to do a little retail therapy now and then. It sure is fun to hear the mailman ring the doorbell when you're expecting some good stuff. Above is what I ordered. If you click on the picture, you can see them better. Sorry, the lighting wasn't too good this morning. The temptation is always there to start something new right away, but I'm a one at a time stitcher, so I'm plugging along on the Plantation Sampler for now. I think I enjoy the kitting up process as much as the actual stitching. I love going through my fibers and fabric to see what I need. It's an obsession to have it all at hand. It's getting harder and harder to locate some of the older oop charts. I have looked high and low for "Two Fine Ewes" by The City Stitcher. I found it on EBay, but lost out on it by 50 cents because I wasn't paying attention. Frustrating! If anyone has it and is willing to sell, please let me know. Em-li's has it on their site. but they don't have it anymore.

I tried my favorite oop sites for you - cobweb corner and old stitch - no luck. Last resort go to Hoffman and the shop list and start emailing. Long and tedious but you might find it.
Great stash enhancement!! All of the charts are wonderful. On Ebay, I've found using www.auctionsniper.com most helpful. I usually bid on stuff sold in the US and the auction almost always finishes in the middle of the night for me. After losing out on too many things I really wanted, I started 'sniping' and it's fabulous. I know that some people don't like it but it works for me. I'll keep an eye out for the City Stitcher chart.
Love all the new stash Tanya! You are right - retail therapy is good for the soul! :) I love the anticipation of getting some good stash in the mail! :)
Emli's is really (IMHO) criminally bad about updating their site. I tried to place an order with them and out of something like 9 charts, they had 2 actually available. :(
I love your stash enhancement! What beauties you've chosen!! Have fun!! :D
You got yourself some nice new stash. It is always great when the mail man brings something nice.
Nice stash!!!!! I can only work on one project at a time as well, that's way I always try to restrain myself from getting too many new charts..... And it is getting harder and harder....... ;-)
Wonderful stash enhancement. All the charts are so nice.
Good luck finding your OOP pattern.
Wonderful charts! It's always good to stash up!
Ooooohhh.... aaaahhhh... your stash enhancement is beautiful! I love stash enhancement. Soemthing about it just makes my little heart smile. Have fun!
Excellent choices !! I love your new stash : )
I don't have the pattern you are looking for, good luck -- I'm sure it is out there somewhere
What wonderful patterns you ordered and I am like you loving to hear the mailman knock on the door with goodies for me! I am going to order some things this week but it always takes me so long to actually decide what to get cause I want so much! LOL
You have some lovely pattern's there Tanya. I also love receiving patterns and turning them over and studying them. Sampler's are my favourite patterns and that is why I love Em-Li's. Now to find the time to stitch them all. : )

Great stash! I'd never heard of Words of Praise before, and I went to Emli's to look more closely. I like them, but I know with Emli's that just because it's there on the website doesn't mean she has it. LOL
Just want to let you know you just received an award from me~~ ^^

Have you thought about contacting the designer directly?? She might know who has copies of the chart available for sell. Worst case, ask if she can sell you a pdf of the pattern. Good Luck!
