Happy Monday! I'm still stitching away on Isabella Brackin. It's slow going as I'm on the over one verse. I really like stitching over one, but on 40ct. linen, I sure can't go very fast. While I was out today, I found a frame for her that I think will be perfect. I love it when it's an easy choice. That doesn't happen for me too often. My friend Sandra, was concerned that I had missed stitching a bud in the border. I assured her that I hadn't. In fact, this sampler is full of irregularities such as the spacing of some motifs and odd places to change colors. It makes me wonder if the real Isabella enjoyed stitching this piece, or was she only doing it because she had to?

Don't forget to leave me a comment on the previous post if you are interested in my giveaway. I will draw the name tomorrow night and announce it on Wednesday. Thanks to those of you that have already done so. I'm amazed at the response. Some of you have blogs that are new to me and I plan to visit as soon as I can, and as always, it's nice to hear from friends, both old and new.

this is another little beauty.I hope your eyesight will still be good after this one :D
What a wonderful sampler. It's coming along nicely and the irregularities make it all the more special.

What a gorgeous sampler. It's coming along so quickly.
I too am in awe of the over 1 work on 40. Do you use a magnifier?
Take care.
I think you are very brave to leave the irregularities in your sampler, I always want to put them right when I'm stitching, but if that is how the original was, then so be it. I couldn't even begin to think what over one on 40 count would be like, 32 count is my limit, even with glasses AND a magnifier. Looking forward to seeing the frame you chose.
Thanks to my new Daylight lamp, I can once again stitch on 40 count in the evening - hooray! But I don't go very fast either! LOL! This looks wonderful and is certainly worth "lingering" over.
You're making great progress Tanya! It's beautiful!!
Such peaceful, delicate colors. You're coming along pretty quickly, especially considering it's on 40 ct and the over-one words!
I love this Isabella Brackin! So just thought I'd drop in and say that as well as say "thanks" for being the first person to make a link in the sidebar to my blog! :) It's great to feel welcomed into the blogiverse!
Oh, I can relate to Isabella...I have had some "have to's" that became drudgery...yours definitely is not looking that way. :)
